• The owners behind Strang Hall plan to open Strang Reserve, an event space featuring the same cuisine. The space — 8020 Marty St., Overland Park, KS — will be 7,000 sqft + accommodate up to 280 guests. Plans are to open the space by the end of the year. (Kansas City Business Journal)

• District Biskuits is opening — at 504 Armour Rd., North Kansas City, MO — midsummer. The spot will offer specialty biscuits named after Kansas City area neighborhoods, people, and businesses. • Kansas City, MO ranked No. 11 for best cities for 2022 college graduates to live in. The study by Zumper measured factors like median rent + unemployment rate.

• Ever wanted to visit the Great Barrier Reef? Well, now’s your chance. Narrated by Australian actor Eric Bana, “Great Barrier Reef” takes place all summer long at Union Station’s Extreme Screen Theatre. Showings are Mon.-Sat. 10 + 11 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sun. 🌊

• Home improvement store Hartman Hardware officially closed its doors — at 5800 Johnson Dr., Mission, KS. The store was in business for 26 years, with no official reason for its closure. Owner Bob Hartman now works at Westlake Ace Hardware. (Shawnee Mission Post)
