Here is how you can spend a day in Kansas City on $15 vs. $150: š° $15 budget
For the baller on the budget, pick up an egg sandwich from Winsteadās for $2.49.
Next, head down to The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Donāt forget to make your free reservation before you visit. Then, head to Pizza 51 for a slice of cheese pizza for $4.25.
Take a walk around the Crossroads while enjoying the various free exhibits on First Fridays. Finish the night off with three pastor tacos from Ricos Tacos Lupe for $5.25.

Thereās a new heart in town. The Parade of Hearts released its 156th heart, āNational Champs,ā to honor the University of Kansasā menās basketball championship. The heart will be on KUās campus near Allen Fieldhouse till the first week of June.

Sporting KC won against Colorado this Wednesday, 2-1. Forward DĆ”niel SallĆ³i scored both goals. Their next game is with San Jose on Sun., May 22 at 6:30 p.m. ā½

The Ashland on Third apartment development was purchased from KC Commercial Realty Group by Oaks Properties + will resume construction by the end of 2022. The stalled project north of the City Market has been a vacant lot for almost two years. Oaks will adjust the amenities + unit count. (CityScene KC)
